At Emergency Medical Care Inc., we are committed to promoting health and wellness as well as injury prevention education. To this end, we deliver presentations at schools and seniors’ homes; participate in parades and community events, health and wellness exhibitions and more.

Each year, our employees volunteer hundreds of hours at community events. EMC supports employees who fundraise in their communities through a funds matching program, which supports important causes such as Feed Nova Scotia, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia and Children’s Wish Foundation, amongst many others.

We also recognize time spent volunteering through an employee volunteer recognition program called Hours for AEDs. The Hours for AEDs Program rewards volunteer hours through the donation of AEDs in Nova Scotia communities.
